For small businesses across NYC and the US

Win the contracts you qualify for.

The City of New York spends seventeen billion dollars a year buying goods and services. Most of it goes to firms you've never heard of. We help small businesses become firms the City buys from.

The gap

Most small businesses qualify for government contracts. Almost none of them win any.

The paperwork is opaque. The forms are unforgiving. The bid responses read like dissertations. And the deadlines arrive on a Friday afternoon.

We do this work every day. We have lived inside the same regulatory landscape we are helping you navigate. Our founder runs an NYC-certified MBE business. The Federal SAM registration on our own desk renews every year, same as yours will.

There is no mystery to this. Just a system that nobody explained to you yet.

"Your certification gives you access. The bid wins the work. Most firms get the certification and then stop. That's the gap we close."

Common questions

Answers before you ask.

No, and we are explicit about that in our engagement letter. What we guarantee is that your application will be complete, correctly formatted, and submitted on time. Outcomes depend on agency review and competitive dynamics that nobody controls. Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something.
No. WedgeBid provides procurement and grant application services. We do not provide legal advice, legal representation, accounting services, or financial advice. If your situation needs an attorney, we will tell you and refer you to one.
Typically four to eight weeks from filing to approval. Document gathering on your side usually takes one to two weeks. Once we file, the city's review is the bottleneck, and timing depends on their queue.
Most of our services work nationally. Federal SAM.gov registration, federal MBE/DBE, capability statements, bid responses for federal contracts, and federal grant applications all apply regardless of location. NYC-specific services obviously only apply to NYC-based businesses.
Because we built the practice around modern tooling that compresses how long the work takes. The work itself is the same. The cost structure to deliver it is different. We pass the savings to clients because we want to serve more small businesses, not fewer.
Yes. If we don't believe a bid is worth pursuing, we'll tell you and decline the work. If two clients are bidding on the same contract, we represent the one we engaged first and decline the second. We will not take a fee for work we don't believe in.
